6 More Weeks!

I am starting my FINAL graduate school class next week. I cannot tell you how excited I am about having this all behind me. This all started in the fall of "09. Almost 18 months later, here I am!  It is crazy to think that on May 12th, I can go out and be a principal! I will be receiving my master's in Educational Administration and I will be taking the state certification test this summer. I am teaching Kindergarten again next year at the same school. I love my kids and everyone that I work with so I can't even begin to think about leaving but I got my master's so that I could have a lot of choices down the road. We will see what happens! Viva Mexico!

We just got back lastnight from Mexico. It.was.amazing! We stayed in a fantastic resort very closte to Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. We got there Monday the 14th and left on Saturday the 19th. It was the perfect amount of time, it wasn't too short or too long. We laid by the pool, ate lots of yummy food, went to the beautiful beach, swam in the pool, drank lots of yummy cocktails and enjoyed each other's company. We had a room with our own private pool that we shared with a few other hotel rooms.

-My favorite things about the trip:

-sleeping in everyday
-not having to go to work
-room service
-drinks by and in the pool
-meeting and talking with other couples from around the world
-not seeing or hearing a single child- don't get me wrong, I LOVE children but it was a nice break for me. (The resort did not allow children).
- The resort's entertainment: They had a Mexican culture night with great food and dancers, a live rock band one night, a fire show, a St. Patrick's Day Party (with green drinks!) and activities like mini- speed boat racing in the pool, pool volleyball (I watched), ping pong in the pool, Black Jack and Bingo and some sort of tasting everyday.
- Spending quality time with my hubby!

I do need to apologize, we didn't take as many pictures as we should but here a few. We were constantly forgetting the camera. Here a few that we took:

Army Wives is back!

It's back on! I am so excited, I can barely stand it. It hasn't been on since last summer. If you don't watch this show, I highly recommend it. It is on: Sunday nights @ 8 on Lifetime. Please enjoy if you don't already.

You are my idol!

Ok, so I have been watching American Idol this season and I have found myself completely obsessed with Paul McDonald. I mean it could be because he sang one of my favorite songs on Tuesday night or that he looks like Bradley Cooper, I honestly don't know! He just looks so natural and easy going up on stage. If you missed it,  I have linked the video from last night. I mean, am I crazy? I have watched the video at least 10 ten times...

Beep, Beep!!!

Austin got his Valentine's Day gift a little early this year. Yes, he got a scooter. In our neighborhood, they are everywhere. Lots of people -- including some of our friends -- have them, and Austin has been wanting one for a quite a while now. He has taken it everywhere this weekend. Places he has been ( that I know of ) : multiple friend's houses that live in our neighborhood, Chinese food place down the street, to his work- downtown, Cretia's  and even to Central Market. He also went on a joy ride yesterday with our good friend, Will, who has an orange Vespa. If you live in Dallas, be on the look out for this guy on his moped.

PS. Mya has been improving every day so far, we are so thankful:)
