2 Year Anniversary

Two years ago today, I married the love of my life and my best friend. I am so amazed with how fast the last 2 years have flown by. I feel like it was just yesterday that I had my big white dress on and I was getting ready to take that very long walk down the aisle to become Mrs. Austin
Champion.  Today, Austin surprised me at work with beautiful flowers.  This evening we went to dinner at a cute place called Cafe R+D. To top it all off, Austin gave me a gift certificate to Exhale spa. He totally read my mind, he couldn't of gotten me a more perfect gift. He deserves the husband of the year award. We had a wonderful time today and I am so sad that it is almost over. We have a lot to be thankful for and we are definitely counting our blessings.

Holy CakeBalls

If you know me well, you would know that I wasn't much of a dessert person until about 4 years ago. I think I woke up one day and thought, " I am going to be obsessed with desserts now." Before then, I never understood how people were so infatuated with sweets. I totally get it now. One of my favorite things this year has been cakeballs. I have had them before but they didn't even compare to the ones I am about to tell you about. I first had these cakeballs in August. I had just started school with all of my kiddos and one of the mothers of a student of mine gifted these to me. I took them home to share with Austin and that is when my life completely changed. I immediately went to the mom and asked her where she had gotten them from because I had to have more! She told me that she had made them and they were from her very own bakery. I was in heaven. She is the sweetest lady and I completely blame her for my cakeball craze. She bakes them in her bakery and she even has a website. She has also given me her homemade cinnamon rolls and cheesecake that were also unbelievable. If you live in the Dallas area or just love cakeballs, you MUST try these. Here is a link to her website and a picture. I am drooling right now just thinking about them.

Loving the Weather

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, we have been really busy around here. This last weekend was so nice. We did some much needed yardwork, I planted some herbs, hung out on our patio, celebrated Paige's birthday and played with the girls. Maggie and Mya are LOVING this weather. They lay in the driveway, on the patio and in the yard. If they aren't chasing squirrels, they are sunning. I want them to enjoy it as much as possible before the dreaded heat starts. Here are some pictures that I took over the weekend, enjoy!
