I have waiting to make it official to the blog world and I finally can, I AM PREGNANT! I am due February 21st. We are so excited and cannot wait to meet the nugget. That would be our nickname for the little one. We found out on June 15th and we have waited until this last week to tell everyone. We went to our first doctor's appointment last Friday, July 22nd, there, we found out our due date and that I was 9 weeks and 3 days along. As of today, I am 10 weeks and 3 days. Last weekend we started telling close friends and family. Everyone seems just as excited as we are. It will be the first grand baby and greatgrandbaby on both sides so we are very happy to make that contribution to everyone! Yes, we are finding out the sex and we think that will be at the end of September. I have been feeling okay with some headaches, a lot of nausea and a ton of food aversions. I will say that I feel lucky considering some of my friends were REALLY sick in their pregnancies. Here is the nugget's first picture. I will post more soon :)

July
Where has July gone? I cannot believe there is only 1 week left. Which leads me to my next realization, that I only have 3 weeks left of my summer vacation. This makes me really sad. Sorry it has been so long since my last post. We have been out of town every weekend since June. This past weekend, we went to the Barton Creek Resort in Austin to celebrate the marriage of Chris and Myles. Austin and Chris lived together for 2 years in college and have stayed really close. Austin was a groomsmen and I was able to hang out at the resort pool most of the weekend with Catherine, Nora and Aimee. Friday night Chris's parents hosted a beautiful rehearsal dinner at Parkside on 6th street. It was very intimate, it had beautiful decor and flowers and awesome food! Saturday night the reception was at the resort. I was obsessed with the flowers and the centerpieces. I think I tried to go around to every table and look at all of them. They were all a little different. The wedding band was amazing and the food was also very good. I will try and get some pictures, I was bad and left my camera in our room most of the weekend. We are in town this weekend and looking forward to relaxing around our house and staying out of this dreadful heat wave.

Fourth of July 2011
We just got back last night from a fabulous weekend at the Clark's house on lake LBJ in Horseshoe Bay. We went down Friday evening and met some of our good friends and got to stay at the Clark's amazing house. We woke up Saturday and the boys and some of the girls headed out on the boat for wakeboarding. They then returned and the pool party began. The entire weekend we were either eating, in the pool or on the boat. We enjoyed some amazing fireworks on Sunday night put on by the Horseshoe Bay resort. We were even able to bring the girls with us. Maggie LOVES the pool. We couldn't get her out of it. She loved to swim, especially when everyone was in the pool. I will have to give her some credit and say that she did a great job with swimming around everyone and not scratching anyone. She even got to hang out on a raft for a while, one her favorite summer activities. Here is a group shot we took yesterday. I will post a couple of others that I took later on today. Thanks again to the Clark family for being wonderful hosts and I hope everyone had a relaxing Fourth of July weekend.
