My Little Artist!

It has been raining a lot here so we have had to find some indoor activities to keep us entertained. This morning we got out the finger-paints and crayons. She was really into mixing all of the paint colors together. 

15 Months on May 15th!

Katherine Grace turned 15 months 2 weeks ago. Sorry for the tardiness of this post. She has really started to say more words, get more hair, run around, get up and down off of the couch, eat larger pieces of foods and is loving to swim.

Favorite things: her kitty lovies, milk, Danimal yogurt drinks, cheese puffs, watermelon, her baby doll's stroller, her plastic chicken, the crazy coupe car, her water table and to swing, for us to chase her and Mya, our shih tzu. They are buddies.

Arboretum

A few weeks ago we went to the Arboretum on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Here are the pictures we finally got off of the camera. We are loving spring!

14 Months!

On Monday, Katherine Grace turned 14 months. Here is what she is up to these days and some pictures:)

Loves:

- her new water table

- Mya, our Shih tzu. She loves sharing snacks with her and chasing her and grabbing her fluffy tail.

- Danimal yogurt smoothies- she loves drinking them with a straw

- her new baby doll and stroller

- her Dadda- she gets so excited every time she sees him or he comes home. Totally becoming a   daddy's girl

- her bubble machine

- sippy cups with straws

- doing yoga poses in her crib and bouncing in it

- pulling everything out of drawers and cabinets- especially the nail polish, go figure!

- Sesame Street

- grab objects that she isn't supposed to have and run away with them and yes, she can run now.

- play peek a boo and hide and go seek

- play in her play tent

- her cozy coupe car

Not interested in lately:

-long walks- to confining

-wearing socks

-taking morning naps

-bed time

- baths

-bananas- not sure what happened

- washing her hands

Tutus and Babydolls

Katherine Grace is all girl. She got a tutu for her birthday from my sweet friend, Kelly and has started bringing me the tutu to put on her. She also just got a baby doll and stroller from my parents and is obsessed with them. Absolutely loves wearing the tutu and strolling with her baby. So sweet. Love this precious girl!

Easter 2013

The Easter weekend started off great and then had a rough ending. We went to Lakewood CC Saturday morning to the annual breakfast, pictures with the Easter bunny and egg hunt. It was so fun! Katherine Grace walked up to the Easter bunny on her own and was very intrigued by him. She wanted to go back to him after we were finished. I wasn't sure how it was going to go, considering we skipped the whole Santa deal. We then had a great breakfast and KG was given some eggs. They had to cancel the egg hunt due to the weather the night before which made everything too muddy. It was kind of a relief on my part.  I think it was a good time had by all but I think next year will be even more fun! Later that day, we went to the school playground down the street with Kate, my sister in law and played with Katherine Grace and the dogs. That evening, we went to dinner and that is when it all started. Katherine Grace got sick at the table and then I got sick in the middle of the night. Total bummer. We both had a stomach bug!  We had to cancel all of our Easter Sunday plans with my family and Kate so that no one else got sick. We are feeling better this morning but have to stay away from others from at least a day or two which is no fun. We are still very grateful for our wonderful Saturday that we had.
