My two sweeties Tuesday morning before Katherine Grace's pediatrician appointment.

Shopping

Today Katherine Grace and I went and met up with Melissa and her sweet twins at Northpark. We had a long, fun lunch and then walked around and did a little shopping. We had a great time. Here is a pic that I took when we got home.

2 Month Stats

We went to the pediatrician this morning. Boy, have I been dreading this appointment. Everyone kept telling me how bad it was because of the shots. I didn't think it was so bad. Don't get me wrong, Katherine Grace screamed bloody murder when they poked her but she stopped crying after 10 seconds or so. She is such a trooper. She got three shots and an oral vaccine for the stomach bug. She has been fine so far. We are watching her closely.

 Here are her stats:

Weight: 10 pounds 4 ounces- 50th percentile
Height: 22 and a quarter inches- 50th percentile
Head: 14 and three quarters- 25th percentile

She is very awake and alert more these days. She takes little cat naps during the days but goes for 7-8 stretches at night. She still loves to go places, go on walks, bounce, swing and music. She is smiling and cooing a ton. I think we hear a new sound or noise come from her every day. It is so fun to watch her grow and develop. We are feeling very blessed these days.

Happy Girl!

7 weeks

I can't believe that Katherine Grace is 7 weeks old. Her little personality is coming out more and more every day. She is smiling a ton and letting us know what she likes and dislikes. We have figured out that she LOVES to be on the move.

Her favorite things: pacifiers, her orange monkey, her carseat,  and her big swing.

Her least favorite things: tummy time, her little swing, the dogs barking, napping in her crib and having her diaper changed.

Her favorite activities: Anything that involves moving: being walked around, going places, taking walks, swinging, standing up on her legs on your stomache (with lots of support), sticking her tongue out and someone bouncing her. My arms are constantly soar from bouncing her all of the time! She also loves music and me singing to her.

Weight: (as of 3/30) 9 and a 1/2 pounds

Clothing: still in some newborn clothes but mainly in 0-3 months. The Kissy Kissy brand, 0-3 months, is fitting her perfectly at the moment.

Diapers: She is still in the newborn size, but I see her outgrowing them soon:(

Sleep: 6-7 hour stretches at night. Naps 2-3 hours sporadically during the day.
